Back garden Jacob de Graefflaan The Hague

An absolute eye-catcher in this family garden is the orange pond in the middel of the garden. The color is chosen by the client. Behind the pond is a raised, spacious terrace of long, narrow concrete tiles and  hardwood boards. This terrace adjoins the glass facade of the garden house designed by Marieke Tobias. The plants in the large cortensteel container provide color and life to the garden, which further consists of a lawn and a path of shells. The cortensteel material is reflected in 3 vertical screens between 2 espaliers and the black fence at the back.
