Back garden Van Speijkstraat The Hague
7.00 x 18.00m

This long city garden was almost completely overgrown with ivy and evergreen shrubs. A giant, multi-stemmed Maple in the back left created the necessary shade at the same time. While maintaining the Maple and the two exisiting terraces lush, colorful plants have been planted within a new clear structure. A narrow, long pond in the line of sight of the Maple provides extra light and liveliness. The fences and the shed in the back are painted blue, thus forming a fresh, peaceful background for the varied planting.
