Backgarden Klaas Geertsplantsoen Amsterdam Noord

This backgarden belongs to a new house from 2020 and was full with sand and rubbish. The existing fences on the left and right are painted black; the wire fence at the back is overgrown with Ivy. Directly in front of the house lies a wooden deckterrace. From here, you step down under an overgrown pergola and between planting on to a path to a second terrace on the right against the fence, and from there to a third terrace before the wire fence. Path and terraces are paved with Gravi d‘Or, a sandcolored semi-hard paving. Three beech hedges and two trees (Gleditsia and Amelanchier) provide verticality and privacy, a nice division of the garden. The result is a lush urban garden with various places to sit, in sun or shade.
